At the start of 2025 I began a brand ambassadorship with PermaJet, a company that makes inks and papers for artists and photographers. I use their materials for my books and prints. I have two printers, one for book pages and one for hi-end prints.
I'm currently testing their stock to decide which to use for my prints. As soon as I have settled on that I will make signed A4 prints available for collectors.
With my PermaJet partnership I will make YouTube tutorial videos of my book making process. They will be available to everybody for free. However, for those who can afford to, I will add a tip jar. Should these videos prove useful then I'd appreciate a gesture of some sort. You can buy a book or print or tip the price of an espresso. Whatever fits your circumstance. Or enjoy and learn for free. They are time consuming to make and the processes I developed took years of experimentation and copious resources. It would be good to get some of that back.
Anyone wishing to avail of a PermaJet discount can use code PAULT15 for 15% off their excellent range.
My exhibition, AFTER NIGHTFALL in Bremen, Germany has now closed. It was a fantastic experience for me.
I currently have work on show at Proud Gallery here in London as part of a group show called Collective Visions with my friends and colleagues from the Photobook Club Collective. Two of my mine are available.

Just came across your work as I am interested in also making my own photo books. Our styles are similar, but there is a lot I can learn from yours. I tend to get too literal.
I am wondering what paper from Permajet you are using for your books – as you know, how they crease is essential. I look forward to your tutorials.
You can follow me @nancy_lehrer if you are so inclined.
