Whatever light shows me is potential for a photograph. Be it sunlight, moonlight, street light, and so on. Life as it comes at me, howsoever lit. People, places, things. If something intrigues me, I'll make a picture. I'm all about happenstance. It's a compulsion. Has been since art school in the late 80s.
I curate this work into small handmade books and matted prints for discerning collectors around the world.
Making books by hand is as important to me as making photographs.
Previously I had worked in news, documentary and commercial property photography for 30 plus years.
