Studio selfie portrait of photographer Paul Treacy in London

My practice focuses on putting carefully curated and sequenced photographs into small handmade books for discerning collectors. I make photographs all the time, as life comes at me. It's a compulsion. Has been since art school in the late 80s.

Recently I've come to realise that making books by hand is as important to me as making photographs.

I am currently arranging to make my work available as exhibition grade prints. If this is something you might be interested in, please consider signing up to my mailing list below or contact me directly. Thank you.

Previously I had worked in news, documentary and commercial property photography for 30 plus years.

My work has appeared in the New York Times Magazine, The Guardian, The Irish Times, on the BBC and CNN, on various book covers and more.
