Solo show in London
I think this is a cracking good picture. It's extremely close to what I had in mind that day two weeks ago when I set out to walk to nearby Crystal Palace. I had seen that window before during the day and figured I'd return to make a picture at dusk when the light might be on. And sure enough it was. And a person appeared. Only to close the curtains so I only managed a couple of frames. Handheld.
This picture needs to be seen big to be best appreciated. Twould be totally lost on Instagram on a small phone screen.
I will have a solo show somewhere in London soon to show this image and several more like it. It'll be a followup to After Nightfall this time last year in Bremen, Germany. That was a lovely small showing of 12 big prints. I'd like to double that number for a new exhibition and print sale. There'll be a book too of course. With a special edition going to both the gallerist and curator who brought me to Bremen.
I would also like to bring this work to Ireland, my home country. If you know of anyone who may be able to help me with that, please let me know.
