This is work made over 12 years across the vast hinterland of south east London. I started in 2008 when I moved here with my family from New York City. I edited and sequenced the work during the pandemic. 

As I have developed my book making practice over these last few years my skills have radically improved. I use only archival materials and have developed a lay-flat binding technique using only pH neutral tape. No glue. I use a matt paper from Epson that holds true when folding such that the ink does not crack. 

These bespoke books take a couple of days to make and the price reflects that. Each book is slightly different because they are handmade. And that's why they are special and collectable. It comes in a robust handmade box from recycled materials.
