I present to you, Mixed Messages, blending personal and assignment work between 1994 and 2010.
This work was first published in 2010 but I wanted to return to it and present it as a handmade book, better mimicking the protest signage of much of the material inside.
But also to close the door on that early part of my career such that I can fully delve deep into this book making process and explore subjects more artistically.
Mixed Messages is very direct. It's reportage. It's street photography. It's straight from the news beat. It's full of wit and curiosity. It's very much of its time.
